Senior Network Administrator/Team Lead

As part of our Information Systems and Technology Division, youll work in a large enterprise class environment to support organizations worldwide. In this role, youll continuously build new skills as you work with multiple leading-edge technologies, providing timely and effective support for LAN/WAN and wireless networks, security infrastructure, and ongoing projects.
We are looking for a candidate who will be able to architect new network solutions, provide senior network engineering support, and is capable of leading a team of network administrators. This position will be located in our Redlands, California office.
Responsibilities:
Configure and administer network switches, routers, access control devices, and wireless and monitoring platforms
Implement SSL/VPN and network monitoring support requirements
Perform in-depth network services monitoring and troubleshooting
Evaluate and deploy new services and functions as needed
Provide off-hours support on a rotational basis
Serve as lead on network projects and participate in network infrastructure design
Support disaster recovery router and switch IOS management
Procure, manage, and implement WAN diagnostics and debugging
Coordinate vendor operations
Serve as a lead for a team of network administrators
Requirements:
Bachelors in computer science or related field
Minimum of seven years of network administration experience
In-depth knowledge of network principles and protocols
Ability to administer layer 2 and layer 3 devices at an advanced level
Knowledge of EIGRP, BGP, firewall, IDS, and IPv6
Knowledge of MPLS, AVPN, DMVPN, H.323, SSL, and VPN
Wireless support utilizing Cisco Prime
Ability to design and implement large network configurations addressing availability, security, and flexibility
Solid troubleshooting skills as well as good communication skills
Ability to design network infrastructure projects from
inception to installation
Ability to lead a project team and perform functions with minimal direction
Knowledge of network monitoring tools like solarwinds
US Citizen/Clearable
Recommended
Qualifications:
Experience as a Network team Supervisor or Manager
Experience with the Cisco product line
Cisco certification
Knowledge of unified communications and packet shaping
Knowledge of QOS and load balancing systemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
