Business Intelligence Data Architect
Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and leverage logical and physical data models to ensure integration of enterprise data and applications
Define and maintain data architectures, metadata standards, and guidelines
Provide technical advice and guidance to senior managers and technical resources in the creation and implementation of data standards and architecture
Perform data requirements analysis and data modeling to support data management, data integration, and business intelligence initiatives
Develop enterprise data architectures, use proven methodologies for analyzing and presenting data, and manage metadata quality and integrity across platform and enterprise systems
Requirements
Minimum of eight years of experience performing business intelligence or data management development
Minimum of six years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server and its BI stack
Experience working independently as a lead data architect in a data warehousing or business intelligence environment
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand and document business data requirements in complete, accurate, extensible, and flexible logical data models
Understanding of the full development project lifecycle and methodologies
Able to facilitate discussions between small groups of IT and business people, recognize issues of conflict and inconsistency between data requirements, and pursue a resolution of these issues
Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team, as well as independently under own initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's in information systems, computer science, or related field

Experience with data virtualization technologies
Experience with SAP ERP and BI modules
Experience with the software industry
