Registration - Process incoming user conference registration, verify complimentary passes, print badges, send confirmations, and answer questions for both the uc hotline and uc email alias.
Exhibits - Process incoming user conference exhibit registration, verify booth numbers, collect exhibitor descriptions, sponsor ads, sponsor inserts, send confirmations, and answer questions for both the exhibitor phone extension and exhibitor email alias.
Housing - Process incoming hotel reservations on-line and by phone, verify accommodations, rates, amenities, send confirmations, handle housing questions by phone and email, input and verify confirmation numbers, prepare final pick up reports.
Publications - Process abstracts and papers submitted for presentation, collect publication permission forms, send confirmations, handle presenter questions by phone and email, collect presenter bio, work with graphics on agenda, and work with proofing on agenda text.
Map Gallery - Process map submissions, collect publication permission forms, send confirmations; handle presenter questions by phone and email. Work on-site in San Diego

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
